May 19, 2010 Gravitocity announces a new business alliance with Denali Staffing, a firm that specializes in providing highly skilled candidates for startup and emerging technology companies. Under the terms of the agreement, Denali will employ Gravitocity's proprietary, cloud-based recruiting products to manage its staffing operations. In return, Gravitocity will provide Denali with unique functionality that supports Denali's strategy of being a staffing partner of choice for its target market.
Jason Baum, a Denali principal, stated: "We have been beta testing Gravitocity's software for the past several months and have been impressed with its ability to provide a 360° view of the recruiter's desk. Gravitocity's software has dramatically decreased the time to identify, connect with, and recruit the experienced professionals our clients demand. This software has increased our recruiters' productivity by as much as 60 percent and that helps us keep our fees low and clients satisfied. We are looking forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with Gravitocity." April 25, 2010 Gravitocity announces new cloud-based recruiting solution.
Gravitocity today announced that its advanced Web 2.0 recruiting solution is now in First Customer Shipment status. According to co-founder and CEO, Frank Tolve, the company has met all of its objectives during its rigorous beta testing period and is now ready to make the software commercially available. Tolve said, "Our software has been in development for over two years and it is now ready for release to the general public. We took our time because we wanted to produce a suite of tools that addresses every aspect of what a recruiter does, not just applicant tracking." February 22, 2007 Gravitocity applies for US Patents. Gravitocity has submitted its request for seven patents which relate to its SaaS-based recruiting solutions. The patents relate to screening technology and database architecture that the company will employ in its recruiting solutions. A decision by the Patent Office is not expected for several years.
November 13, 2007 Gravitocity announces private Talent Networking technology for recruiters.
Gravitocity, a leader in Web 2.0-based recruiting software, announced the availability of what the company believes is the first recruiting solution that incorporates private social networking technology. With this new capability, recruiters can now establish private networks of contacts of any size and have them managed for them by Gravitocity's cloud-based service. The central idea in a private Talent Network, as with any social network, is that there is a two-way exchange of information. For the professional contact, this means that they control important information about their skills, experiences, and preferences, in a secure environment which only they and the recruiter share. For recruiters, this means that a wealth of information can be gathered and stored for them without their direct intervention, leaving more time for direct recruiting. Gravitocity's Talent Networking technology is patent-pending. July 28, 2008 Gravitocity announces innovative new features to its recruiting solution suite.
Gravitocity today released a new feature set that dramatically speeds and simplifies the process of capturing and storing resumes and contacts. Using the familiar drag-and-drop paradigm, these new capabilities now enable users to readily capture one or more resumes with one act. "Our users have been asking for a capability like this", said CTO Greg Henson. "We pride ourselves on being a company that listens to its users." Initial reaction has been extremely positive. With this new capability Gravitocity users may now simply drag an individual resume, or a folder of resumes, and drop them into the system. The software even processes zipped files in the same manner thereby facilitating the importation of hundreds of resumes at once. In addition, with each resume imported the software automatically creates a network member profile to assist recruiters in expanding their Web 2.0 network of professional contacts. January 7, 2009 Gravitocity announces important new communications management capabilities.
Gravitocity today announced the ability to integrate its Web 2.0 recruiting solutions with Outlook, thereby providing recruiters with unprecedented abilities to manage communications with prospects and clients. According to the company, these new features support the automatic monitoring and capture of both incoming and outgoing emails through Outlook. Whenever such correspondence is encountered, a copy of the email is inserted and preserved in the profile of the individual network member. This eliminates the headache of managing correspondence for recruiters. Gravitocity's Outlook integration also provides recruiters with other important capabilities. Using the now standard drag-and-drop paradigm, users can now simply capture resumes or business contact information enclosed in emails. Such captured information automatically leads to the creation or updating of network member profiles and keeps recruiters abreast of changes or additions to their network at all times. Outlook integration ushers in new mass mailing capabilities as well. Using Gravitocity's existing email templating tools, recruiters can now correspond with dozens or even hundreds of individuals with just a mouse click. This speeds the process of connecting with prospective candidates or prospective clients, either way leading to more business in less time. August 5, 2009 Gravitocity announces new realtime Activity Dashboard capability.
Gravitocity, a leader in Web 2.0-based recruiting software, announced the availability of new system monitoring tools that provide important information about events as they happen. Based on the latest AJAX technology, these new monitoring tools provide realtime alerts that are displayed and maintained chronologically for the recruiter, making it easy to trace event histories as they unfold. With this new capability, recruiters can now stay abreast of key developments such as: network member updates, job prospect interest, client candidate reviews, prospective client interest, and the arrival of all important correspondence. The company said that this new capability will be available in the next release of its software expected in September, 2009. |
